What I do

Direction

As a lead on creative for commercials, short films and branded content, I specialise in telling playful, imaginative stories.

I carry skills over from the other side of the camera too. I have 15 years experience working as an actor in dramas for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, commercials, theatre and film, which helps me explore a creative process from another perspective.

I love collaborating. It’s a joy to meet and work with other creatives and bring ideas to life together as a team.

Storyboards

I create boards and concept frames in a variety of styles to suit the atmosphere and tone of the story.

I can direct the story beats and rhythm myself or help develop a visual language within a team.

Animation

I work in After Effects creating motion graphics and character based animations. If onboard from the concept and illustration stage, I can offer a streamlined design, execution and revision pipeline.

As a generalist I also bring script writing, editing, colour grading, sound design and some basic 3D modelling skills to the table.
