Design director for experimental interactive dating show for Quibi. The Hot Drop was a bold new concept for a show requiring eye-catching feel-good summer-vibe visuals to attract a fashionable 18-25 year old audience.
The show would be played on your mobile device, and had an in-app voting system that needed designs to double as both show graphics and responsive UI elements within flexible aspect ratios.
We also needed to handover a show graphics package template that could be operated on the fly as new footage was shot for each episode.
I led on all aspects of design from logo creation and style guides to motion graphics and UI development to create a coherent brand identity that mixed a slick, minimalist interface with visuals that suggested the escapism of tropical beaches and sunset parties.
